Snaps: Shay Mitchell Bares Limbs in Baja East X Fila

The world first got a glimpse of Canadian beauty Shay Mitchell in 2010 When 'Pretty Little Liars' (a cult book turned cult TV show) aired and everyone was instantly enamored by Mitchell. In the November issue of SELF Magazine, Mitchell gives readers a glimpse into her world. And, after the ready, it seems like ambition is something that runs through Shay’s blood. "I really believe in the power of visualizing, having faith, and then working your ass off."

This half Filipino super woman touches on how she was bullied in her younger years and empathizes with modern youth because of all the different technological tunnels that can lead to ostracizing. Shay also lets us in on her workout goals and go-to exercises. The fearlessness that this chicky embodies is something that I believe we can all be inspired by.

In the spread, Mitchell rocks a pair of sneakers that is a product of a collaboration between Baja East (the high-end street inspired line that is designed by John Targon and Scott Studenberg) and FILA. The show for the new line debuted during fall fashion week in early September and I would assume this is an initial drop that we could see sometimes in the Spring.

This article is proof that it’s the women like Mitchell who are really making the difference, giving young women someone to relate to. Just a reminder that this is what we rep at CNK. The ability to feel comfortable in our own kicks. Don’t be afraid to rock the shoes you want to rock and don’t be afraid to be who you are because no one else is you, and that truly is your magic. Shay Mitchell is some serious #Chicksperation for that.
