For Nike, The #ForceIsFemale In New Editorial
Today marks the day that Nike releases it's anticipated Air Force 1 Ultraforce Mid (did you shop the sneaks via our release roundup?) and they do it full force and in fine fashion. You'll understand the pun in a minute, just keep scrolling.
In their new FORCE IS FEMALE campaign, Nike Sportswear puts a major pin in their female audience by championing strong women who are paving their own way, shaping culture, creating the future, inspiring their communities and embodying what it means to be a force. Ultimately, it’s a dedication or sorts to powerful women, ladies who support themselves and each other, the power of collaboration over competition and, of course, a love for the classics.
A number of faces contribute to the campaign with a slew of familiar faces (and some new chicas) getting a chance to introduce themselves to the world. Models @janaeroubleu and @_alexisq, Stylist @jamiiifox, YouTube darlings @zolee_g and @foreverflawlyss, and Dancer @catrendic team for some major girl power in a series of shots curated by the Nike Los Angeles squad.
And, in true Nike form, this push for positivity comes with some major style. For the first time we get a glimpse at the tonal navy SF-AF1 debuting on January 19th for $165 as well as the aforementioned UltraForce Mid which hits stores today (January 5, 2016) for $110.
