We're back with another SneakHer Style Tip just in time for the fall season. Let's talk about varsity jackets ladies. If you played any type of sports in high school or college getting your letterman jacket was everything. While I've never done any of those things I've always been a fan of the style of the varsity jacket. They have a masculine silhouette and were customizable. Yes, customizable in a way where you could get your name stitched, add patches, sdd pins to make it your ow and make it feel special.
I thought it would be cool to show you guys three ways I would wear my varsity jacket. Even though the first day of fall is here, sometimes we get those September heat waves so I opted for a cropped tank top that I cropped myself about 6 years ago and paired it with the black shorts from Jordan 23 Engineered collection. The shorts are pretty long since they are mens so I rolled them up twice to give them more structure. I opted for a pair of socks that read "Designer" that are from Ron Louis, a local designer here in Chicago that you guys should be looking out for. The Satin Black Toe was perfect since it added a touch of red that's featured in one of the sleeves of the Jordan Sport DNA Varsity Jacket. Plus, some sunglasses for sun duh.

SneakHer Style Tip #2: Keep It Simple, Keep It Cozy
When you're just being cozy, which is something I do often. I would wear this anywhere and especially during the fall. I wanted to keep it simple and paired the varsity jacket with a white button up shirt because its a staple.I made sure to keep this look dressed down with the leggings and socks because it just screams, I'm not trying hard at all. This vintage Chicago Bulls hat belongs to be grandfather, I may or may not return it one day. I also kept the sneakers simple because the varsity jacket and hat were the focal point understated sneakers to let the stars shine.
SneakHer Style Tip #3: Let The Jacket Do The Talking
Even though the varsity jacket is masculine in craftsmanship, I thought it would be fun to pair it with something really girly, aka a skirt. Plus, I'm quite extra so a faux leather one to be exact because I personally can't get enough of it. I bought this skirt from Topshop about five years ago and they still have a similar on in-store now (work Topshop).I thought it would be chic to pair it with a ribbed turtleneck to match the pleated skirt. All black looks amazing with this jacket because of the sleeve are two different colors and its where your eyes go immediately. You can dress this varsity up or down and that's what you want. Kept the shoes simple for this one as well.
Let us know which look was your favorite and how you would style your varsity jacket this fall season.
