Winnie Harlow Stars in Nike's New Air Vapormax Campaign
When it comes to roll outs, no one does it quite like Nike. This past Air Max Day, the sportswear giant unleashed a brand new addition to the Air Max family with the Vapor Max. The apex of 30 years worth of innovation, the Vapor Max is the closest we've gotten to walking on air - ever.
The excitement about this release was pretty epic as the shoes steadily sold out within the first week of release. Lucky for us, that was only the beginning. This week, Nike confirmed that a brand-new colorway of the Vapor Max is coming very, very soon — like, April 27th soon.
The Vapor Max collection will expand next week, when Nike releases its new "Asphalt" shade. The newest addition features a dark gray Flyknit upper and the Vapor Maxes calling card: the visible cushioning on the sole. For the Asphalt launch, Nike tapped model Winnie Harlow to front the campaign.
Harlow was featured as part of Nike’s video spot for the original Vapor Max launch, and adds to a growing list of ways in which Nike has been championing EQUALITY when it comes to its casting, products, and company missions.
Like the original colorway, the "Asphalt" Vapor Max will retail for $190. The sneaker's expected to land on Nike's site right at 10 a.m. EST on the 27th, so you'll want to have your cards ready. Seriously Unless you want to create your own, these will probably sell out.
That said, you can still shop the original model, if you're looking to expeditie your air experience, by clicking below.
