Celebrating strong women is something that we champion on the daily. Whether they are our friends, family, ladies we look up to, or even the ones we don’t know personally. We know they are dope in some form or fashion. One of those ladies at the top of our faves list is Rihanna. I may be slightly biased because she is a Pisces (and Pisces rock), but as a whole our girl Rih has accomplished so much by being unapologetically herself. Breaking through glass ceilings, pushing boundaries, giving back - and doing it all while looking absolutely fabulous.

With an influx in chicks n kicks, we love to see how Rihanna has rocked her own sneakHER style since I can remember. Back in the day, she had a diverse mix of sneaker shots. Rihanna is known for being bold. In music, style, and her words. She pretty much does her own thing and has the ability to continuously re-invent herself through her many talents. We are inserting all the clappin’ emojis for boss babes that tell it like it is.

When Rih Rih was announced as Puma’s global ambassador and Creative Director for women's training collections near the beginning of 2015, it was a marriage made in sneaker heaven. She added a mix of femininity to a street style that had all the ladies filling their e-carts. Sneaker, slides, apparel - you name it. Already holding a throne as one of the world's most influential females, Rihanna brought her creative expression to skyrocket PUMA sales and add a whole new spectrum of encouraging individuals to be themselves and have fun while doing it.

Along with pushing a culture through music and fashion, our sister Rihanna understands the importance of giving back. A living testiment to what we call #Chickspiration, Rihanna pays it forward through her actions and not just words. Amongst the many philanthropic initiatives, she created the Clara Lionel Foundation which supports education initiatives along with global health and medical response efforts around the world. Rihanna’s makeup line, Fenty Beauty, has changed the game. Surrounding the hype of new beauty products by the one and only Rih Rih, there was a much deeper thought process behind the products. It wasn't just about getting your lipgloss poppin'. The product line opened a whole market that had a concentration of being inclusive to all skin tones. Her brand launch had such an impact with the foundation shade ranges, that most of the darker tones sold out quickly. Everyone should feel beautiful, and have products that emulate that desire.
