Sneaker Diary: Corporate Kickin' It With The Nike Blazers
Being in Corporate America, I find it advantageous to learn from other boss babes regardless of the industry you are in. I happen to work in Human Resources and let’s just say it can be a bit stressful. As a sneaker lover, what I look forward to most in my work week is… You guessed it, Fridays. Not only because I know a chance to decompress on the weekend is near, but because at my workplace we have Casual Fridays. This means #sneakHER time.
Lately, I have been trying to find great combinations to pair work pieces in my closet with sneakers that are comfortable and versatile with multiple looks. The Nike SB Zoom Blazer has been a great go-to because I get to mix a vintage vibe with a luxe feel given the suede upper. My grandmother always told me I walked “hard” and the Nike Blazer has impact protection being that the model was revamped for the skateboard scene. The “Pine Green” colorway added the perfect pop of contrast to a more muted outfit choice.
Even though the green color in the Blazer is scarcer these days, the small feet tribe can still grab a few sizes via the men's department. No worries, we have added some additional Nike Blazers to choose from below.

On this particular day, I opted to take a quick breather from the hustle and bustle of the daily grind by taking a walk through our office courtyard. The Houston weather has been extremely erratic these past few months, and this day was COLD. Like 30 degrees cold, which is North Pole in Houstonian terms. I paired my light cream hoodie with a classic plaid Blazer coat which added a corporate street appeal.
