Today is officially one of the biggest days of the sneakher calendar: Air Max Day. Every year, Nike celebrates the original release of the first Air Max on March 26, 1987 and every year, we can count on the Swoosh to give us something lovely. But, this year was a little bit different.
Let's talk about manifestation for a minute. This time last year, we were a little disappointed as AM Day came and went and we, yet again, found ourselves without a physical celebration in Dallas. So, I made it my personal mission to see us ring in AM Day 2018 with something special for the Dallas sneaker community. As blessings would have it, our friends at sneaker/streetwear boutique Centre were more than down to team up with us to bring Air to Triple D. With a lot of help, we were able to put together the ultimate kickback complete with air inspired drinks, good vibes, a custom airbrush station provided by SourGrapes Crew and, of course, Air Max overdrive.
So, as the dust begins to settle on official events (like the one our Style Editor attended in Chicago last night) we're looking back at our Saturday turn up and inviting you to follow along. Go inside CNK x Centre Air Max Day 2018 and see how #AirMovesDallas.
