The SneakHER Girl's Guide To: Cinco De Mayo
One thing we pride ourselves on here at CNKDaily is our commonality. We totally get that being a woman often feels like a full-time job and sometimes, you just need a little help, a little bit of instruction and, ultimately, a way to make your life just a LITTLE bit easier. So, I had an idea to tap into our network to pull knowledge and insight from some of our favorite go-getting ladies for a series of "CNK Guides" designed to educate, empower, and help you compliment your already dope SneakHER Style.
After bringing you all the best reads last week, we're screaming "Issa celebration" and we are getting you ready to "kick" things off for Cinco de Mayo. A tradition for many of us celebrating Cinco de Mayo is to grab your friends (or bae) and head out to partake in the festivities which include food and lots of margaritas. We enlisted one of our favorite boss babes, Megan Sheppard, from our H-Town CNK Crew to show us how to create your own sneakHER style with three festive looks. Not only is she a great hairstylist, Megan is a vet in the game when it comes to styling her kicks.

LOOK #1 : FOR THE FLIRTY
"For this look, I started with my shoes and built my outfit and accessories around that. The warmer weather played a major role in this look, and you can never go wrong with a simple, white flare crop top and adding in pops of color. I wanted the colors to play off of each other and an Air Jordan 1 is so classic - definitely my go-to."

LOOK #2 : FOR THE FESTIVE
"The focus for this outfit was the dress. It was fun and festive and I chose to be different and play off more muted tones. The dress is lightweight, perfect for the weather. I have really been into the FILA chunkier sneaker. They can go with just about anything, therefore it was an easy choice to pair with the striped dress."

LOOK #3 : FOR THE FIERCE
"The focus of this look was definitely bold colors. Adding reds with a red lip and coordinating accessories turns heads and adds some spicy flavor to the mix. I kept the outfit as simple as possible, and created some easy contrast with the detailing on the Air More Uptempos."
