CNK Editorial 004: Back To The 90's With Vans x Sandy Liang
Calling All 90’s Babies.
Sandy Liang joined forces with Vans for a special collection that has us reliving the best era ever.

Disposable cameras, flared jeans, chokers, crop tops, bedazzled tees, scrunchies, and yes, Britney Spears. The saying “what goes around comes around” may be intended to describe karma but it also works perfectly to explain the cycle of fashion. Nobody knows this better than Designer Sandy Liang. The Queens native, whose pieces bask in a rare sort of flexibility, seems to fully embrance 90’s comfort with sturdy fleece jackets one second and floral dresses the next. Now, her youthful, 90s-inspired vision comes full-circle with a Vans collaboration that we just had to add to the CNK Editorial lineup.
Debuting February 21, you know that we pretty much swooned when we got our hands on a few pieces. Liang leans into her signature flair for mixing prints, colors, and textiles and applies it to Vans’ iconic silhouettes. Add a slew of covetable clothing and accessories and we were pretty much in permanent smile mode when our bag arrived.
The designer, who is known for taking inspiration from her Bayside, Queens hometown, as well as the treasured art of the hand-me-down has channeled a vibe that makes us wax nostalgic for the 90’s era we grew up in so, we decided to do a little something to combine a bit of our childhood with our current flair for comfortable style.
