The month of November and December has been pretty busy for your girl. We visited "Nike's 'All For 1" Studio here in Chicago to celebrate the cities unsung heroes and we finally released our second editorial 'Winter In The Second City.' On our final day of shooting I had the opportunity to wear my new Timberland's which were beyond fitting for the weather we're experiencing in Chicago. Plus, drink a few coffees.

We ended up shooting our last model at Adam & Sons, a local garden city on the west side. It was pretty chilly this morning but I decided to brave the cold and go with my outfit as semi-planned. I grabbed this cardigan from Target not too long ago because a dark green sweater goes with everything to me. I also layed it with a cream colored turtleneck from Forever 21 and denim shorts from Urban Outfitters which were not in the plan. I ordered a skirt from Americna Apparel that got lost in the mail so these were a last minute swap but worked perfectly with a pair of black tights and fluffy socks from Urban Outfitters. Topped it all off with my tan colored coat because again it was chilly.

It was only right that I break out the Timberlands. I spotted these beautiful joints while attending a Timberland event with Kicks 4 The City and knew I needed these in my collection. These come in two other colors but the dark maroon colors spoke to my soul. Living in Chicago, I feel like it's just normal to have at least one pair of Timberlands in rotation during the fall and winter. I plan on wearing these a couple more times this season so stay tuned to my socials.
Before we end this Sneaker Diary post, I wanted to share a few behind the scene moments from our final day of shooting for our editorial. It was such an early morning but we got it all done. Shout out to Ellen, Symone, Ryan for such an amazing job and Adam and Sons Garden Center for letting us be all up and through their space.
