Whenever I see 'ladies-only' in a sneaker headline I feel pretty giddy all over.

Emmi, a Japenese Women's retailer, has teamed up with Asics for a ladies-only exclusive Gel Lyte V. The sneaker seems to be completely built for the fairer sex complete with a simple color way and intricate features. Just like us gals, huh? LOL.

A perforated leather toe box, tweed and rope laces combine for a sporty-chic look while a "houndtooth" design (used regularly in women's clothing) lends a femine feel. Women's exclusive or not, hats off to these two brands for a well executed take on a classic model.
