This Air Jordan Retro 1 "Rust Pink" is Everything We Need

There are times when we scroll the social media streets and a sneaker has us do a triple take. This is one of those times.

Jordan Brand has been bringing the extreme heat this holiday season, and it doesn't look like we will get a break from the "wishlist wants". We got the first glimpse of the Air Jordan Retro 1 "Rust Pink" when BMX biker Nigel Sylvester posted a teaser that set the internet on fire. From ladies to the fellas, you couldn't miss the plethora of heart eyes and flame emojis.

This Air Jordan 1 colorway has a resemblence to the "Black Toe" Retro 1 colorblocking, but substitutes the red for a salmon pink hue. The leather upper sits on a white midsole and matching salmon pink outsole.

The quality of leather also appears to be a step up from what we would typically see on a grade school size. All this to say, why couldn't this have been exclusively for the small feet tribe? No shade thrown to the "Deadly Pink" lovers, but we are always looking for equality when it comes to material and dope colorways. Sometimes, it can be a challenge being a female consumer in the sneaker world, and we have shoe standards just like the next person.

Is this a NEED on your wishlist? No confirmed release date has been announced, but we do know that the Air Jordan Retro 1 "Rust Pink" will drop some time this month at a retail price of $160 USD. Most of the small feet tribe have fingers crossed that these gems will be favorable to our sizes overall. Stay tuned and we will update you when we learn more information on a release date!
