The Nike Air Max 97 Gets A Colorful Makeover For 2018

The internet has been buzzin' from cool collaborations and new sneakers hittin' the e-streets. Still on a wave from the Nike Air Max 97 re-release this year, we have seen quite a few different styles of the popular silhouette. A definite head turner is Sean Wotherspoon's creative take on the 97 sneaker. Picked to work with Nike's Design team as a RevolutionAir, Sean was tasked with developing a look using his own creativity and experiences.
The contest birthed the Sean Wotherspoon Air Max 97, which ultimately led him to winning the "Vote Forward" competition.
Congrats to Sean because he created a dope shoe that is unique and grabs attention. Giving the Air Max 97 a vintage feel with a multicolor corduroy upper and denim pull tab, the sneaker sits on an Air Max 1 sole for a bold look. This sneaker is inspired by vintage Nike hats from the 80s, and who doesn't love vintage?
Is this a cop or can? The Sean Wotherspoon x Nike Air Max 97 is set to have a limited release followed by a global release on Air Max Day 2018. Stay tuned!

Per Nike's official website, the global launch will take place in March 2018. We're guessing for Air Max Day.
