The Nike Air Max 1 'Bacon' Will Make Your Mouth Water
We are all intrigued by classic silhouette designs and cool colorway concepts. When two of my favorite things can collide and create a dope sneaker, I take notice. Back in late 2004, the Nike Air Max 90 took on a new flavor with a bacon-inspired theme curated by Dave Ortiz (of NY's Dave Quality Meats). The Swoosh has taken the same theme to serve up a fresh pair of Air Max 1s. Doesn't bacon make everything better?
The Nike Air Max 1 'Bacon' has a colorful upper that pays tribute to one of the world's favorite proteins. The sneaker's upper is a wheat colored nubuck with contrasting overlays of orange corduroy and dark brown suede. The signature Nike Swoosh along with tongue patch is draped up in a pink fuzzy chenille material. The smooth look comes together on a clean white midsole and crepe outsole.
Are you feeling this food-inspired concept? If so, we found this gem across the waters at a popular Euro retailer. You can SHOP THE SNEAKS below for about $169 USD (Note: additional international shipping costs may apply).
