Will This Nike Cortez x Kendrick Lamar Get A Surprise Release?

Remember Kendrick Lamar's DAMN Nike Cortez that dropped and instantly sold out on the SNKRS App? Yep, we are still salty too. However, more pictures have resurfaced of another version that is dope AF. With clever marketing strategies and surprise releases, we can't help but ask WILL THIS BE AN UNEXPECTED QUICKSTRIKE? We are leaning towards YES.

This Nike Cortez x Kendrick Lamar picks up right where they left off with everyone wanting more. Sticking to Cali roots with the classic runner, the Cortez is constucted of red nylon material with white leather overlays. This colorblocking really deserves all the fire emojis. What really sets the design off is the black ribbon that runs down the middle of the tongue reading "Don't Trip" in white letters. Similar ribbon also hits the heel while a Chinese translation of "DAMN" hits the lateral side of the red upper. The look comes together on a black/white serrated foam midsole.

So when can we get our hands on these? Being that the NBA Allstar weekend is this weekend in Los Angeles, there are many rumors that this Nike Cortez x Kenny will drop sometime during the festivities with a price tag of $100 USD.
