Since its inception in 2017, the Nike VaporMax has dropped in a multitude of color ways and hybrid silhouettes like the VaporMax 97. However, this years redesign, was set to make an appearance at one of the biggest global events - the Olympics. With the pandemic putting a halt to all major events, we were unable to see the shoe’s redesign at the summer games in all of its glory. However, next month you’ll be able to cop a pair of the WMNS Nike VaporMax 2020 for yourself.

The WMNS VaporMax 2020 is a brand new silhouette that mixes traditional construction with new, futuristic elements. The upper features Nike’s signature Flyknit material with multi-colored threading that is comprised of 75% recycled material. This sneakHER requires no lacing due to its incorporation of Flyease, Nike’s laceless technology system that makes for an easy slip on style while still providing a flexible and secured fit. The signature translucent and segmented outsole is updated with an “S” shaped Air unit that is finished off with recycled accents pasted onto its borders.
