Jordan Brand has released some fire collaborations this year from - think Melody Ehsani, Virgil Abloh, and Dior. Collaborations are always interesting since they envelope the collaborator’s creative spirit through footwear. However, taking it back to the basics with Jordan is just as interesting. For one of their latest Air Jordan 1’s, the brand is breaking new ground by using classic colors in a modern, blocking pattern that reimagines a color way mashup. This is the result when something timeless gets a modern upgrade.

The Air Jordan 1 “Smoke Grey” features a mostly grey construction made of a buttery suede. White leather is seen on the toe box and side panels that pops against the black side Swooshes, laces and collar underlays. What stands out the most is the interruption of the shoe’s overall neutral color scheme by way of the red suede ankle flaps that are topped off with black Air Jordan logos. Check out the snaps below for a more in depth look.

This latest Air Jordan 1 drop is the perfect neutral addition to your sneakHER closet while still offering the right amount of color to spice things up. The Air Jordan 1 “Smoke Grey” will release in both Men’s and GS sizing and will retail for $170 USD and $130 USD, respectively. If you’re thinking about copping, they’re set to drop via SNKRS on July 11th at 10 AM EST or via our SHOP THE SNEAKS below.
