adidas Originals Unveils New NMD_CS2 "Ronin" Pack
Y'all don't understand how much I love slip-on sneakers. For me, being able to step in and step out of my sneaks is a wonderful thing, once only reserved for my Benassi slides and on or two pairs of Vans. Now, it seems everyone is hopping on the socksneak train. Adidas and their City Sock have been a steady presence in this heat and remain the only one missing from my collection.
Basically, I needs this.
Now, I have another chance to grab a pair as adidas Originals announces a second iteration of its NMD City Sock with the NMD_CS2 "Ronin" Pack. The pack, which comes in a versatile "Collegiate Navy" colorway, features two updated City Sock silhouettes. Laced (pun intended) in Primeknit, the shoes boast sleek side profiles and two different designs.
A bold evolution of the original model’s sock-fit construction, the NMD_CS2 features a refined take on the signature NMD midsole and deconstructed EVA insert on the medial side with engraved details on the lateral side. Rendered in Collegiate Navy and finished with a contrast collar and signature tape heel pull, each offering boasts drool-worthy designs, including a polka dot option that caught my eye immediately.

While there is no official word on the price point, based on previous releases, you may want to be prepared to shell out $180 for these babies. The “Ronin” pack is set to release in limited quantities on April 6 via select adidas retailers.
