The Nike Air Max 1 OG Returns for Its 30th Anniversary

This year's Air Max Day celebration (March 26 - mark your calendars) is not only a continued celebration of Nike's revolutionary technology, but it's also the 30th anniversary of the Air Max 1.

As the Tinker Hatfield designed grail returns in all it's grown up glory, we see the special attention to detail that makes this classic a keeper. The anniversary design features several details and elements seen on the OG 1987 edition and a shape inspired by “Golden Era” releases from the turn of the millennium. Nike opts to keep it OG x 10 by sticking with the original colors - one of which dropped this weekend.

Personally, this is a definite Wish List contender. I'll be waiting with baited breath for the Nike Air Max 1 OG 30th Anniversary in Game Royal to hit the net on March 11 via the Nike SNKRS app. While the red colorway is already sold out, ladies can grab the red/white Air Max 1 Ultra 2.0 along with the Game Royal release on March 11. Anyone with me?
