Nike Delivers a “Glass Slipper” Inspired Air Force 1 For Fashion Week

I think it's pretty easy to say that this year's New York Fashion Week has the Swoosh stamped all over it. After a slew of unveils; including the NikeLab x CDG Dunk High, Nike Sportswear's Vachetta Tan collection honoring five decades of basketball, and yet another NikeLab collaboration (this time with designer Riccardo Tisci) for the Dunk Lux Chukka, another drop is heading our way and it's the stuff of fairytales.

Closing out the series of heat, Nike brings forth the Air Force 1 Upstep with a bit of a “Glass Slipper” makeover. Yea, straight outta Cinderella.

Obviously the sneakers aren't made from glass because, duh. That wouldn't be at all pleasant. This special AF1 features embroidered sequins in two colors (coral and jade) and fuses the sport of the classic AF1 with a glitz and glam of runway style.

If you're feeling this glisten, you'll be able to buy this stunner on February 15th in select retail locations. Stay tuned for more on where you can cop your glass slipper.

So, is it a cop or can for you? Personally, these are definitely a shoe I'd need to see in person to pull the trigger on. What are your thoughts?
