We've been feeling quite a few Vans drops as of late, including this Checkerd Old Skool Platform, and now the Vans team introduces a six-piece capsule that reimagines the Authentic and Old Skool in updates perfect for holiday styling. Focusing the design elements on the sidewall, Vans designers took on traditional vulcanization to include embossed ridges and studs for an edgy new take on heritage icons.

Did you know that the first Vans shoe ever was the Authentic? If you're a fan of simple silhouettes that bring versatility these are definitely one you should try. For Holiday 2017, the Authentic is brought to new heights as the Authentic Platform 2.0. The raised sidewall in tonal black features ridging details reminscent of a traditional creeper silhouette and is finished with d-ring lacing. The Authentic Platform 2.0 is available in two all-over suede executions including a black to the floor and red/black colorway. The final colorway features a blend of black suede and leopard printed canvas. The companion to the offering comes from the Old Skool, which delivers an ode to punk styling with tonal embossed studs on the sidewall. The Old Skool is available in three different iterations including blanc de blanc, chili pepper and all black made up in patent leather with a tonal matte leather Sidestripe.
