Teyana Taylor Is Featured On The First Kids Footlocker Series "Generations"
As big brands continue to make a difference through positive social change, so are retailers in the industry. Family is so important and many of the passions we feel for sneaker culture are passed down to us. Older sisters and brothers, significant others, even some of our parents are the foundation for our love for kicks. In turn, we pass this down to our own children. During sneaker releases, there are quite a bit of parents coppin' dope kicks for their little ones.
Kids Foot Locker has launched an amazing miniseries that documents a bond within sneaker culture. By partnering with six families out of New York and Los Angeles, the large retailer tells a story of how generations change, what parents and children like, and how they impact each other through influence.
"Sneaker culture is a common interest for so many people, from young to old and everyday families."
- Chris Santaella, VP Kids Foot Locker
The first video features our girl Teyana Taylor, who is also a Reebok Brand Ambassador and advocate for female empowerment. Her love for sneakers runs deep, and she has shared this with her own child Junie.
"My daughter Junie already loves fashion and her Reebok Classics, just like her mom.”
- Teyana Taylor
In Teyana's video, she is seen teaching a dance class of young girls and speaking with them about confidence and being fearless. Finding balance in how you move, breaking stereotypes when it comes to beauty standards, and being true to yourself are some major GEMS dropped.
Reppin' her signature Reebok style with the Freestyle Hi "5411", she connects the dots on how sneaker culture creates artistic expression and ways to show your own style.

I have to say it again. This video was AMAZING. As a parent, it tugged on the heart strings because I could relate to how she kept it real and where her inspiration comes from. There will be a new video launched each week. Stay Tuned!
