If there’s one thing New Balance does right, it’s serving us soft, vintage styles and color ways that transport us back in time. While the 327 ‘Storm Blue’ took us back to the 70s with its silhouette, Jaden’s new “Trippy Summer” pack is pulling us into the late 60s with its punch of color and groovy lettering. Promo photos and videos for the line feature Jaden amongst colorful piles of flowers, hanging out on a countryside rolling hill waxing poetic with his acoustic guitar. The heavy film grain, pinky-blue dusk sky, and layered DIY beaded jewelry make us feel nostalgic for a summer school romance we could only dream of.
Two new hallucinogenic colorways are added tomorrow to Jaden’s ever-growing line of vegan-friendly Vision Racers. The chunky structure and elastic laces of previous Vision Racers remain in these two new styles. One features a bright burst of colorblocked sunset hues of marigold, orange, evergreen, and bright purple on the body. The second has a melty wave of mauve, turquoise, and cerulean cast on the chunky sole. The outsoles of both have “Vision Racer” typed out in a wavy, colorful flower-power font covered with clear rubber for the summer jade colorway and bright aqua blue for the storm blue. The black hoodie and tee show off wavy lettering in alternating colors.
This psychedelic collection will be accompanied by Jaden’s upcoming single “Trippy Summer,” a sweet and soft track that’s featured on the promo video below:

This drippy collection drops tomorrow, July 30, and will be available at New Balance’s online store. The two new Vision Racer sneaks will run you $150 USD each while the graphic hoodie will be $90 USD and the tee will be $45 USD.
