What We're Still Shopping from Kahlana Barfield’s Target Collection

Target recently launched a new apparel and accessories line to help aid them in reaching their diversity and inclusion goals. Future Collective will be a series of collections that will be co-designed by a revolving roster of different style influencers. Designers will rotate every four months but the Future Collective namesake will remain the same. Target’s first collaborative partner for Future Collective is none other than Kahlana Barfield Brown, who is the former fashion and beauty editor of InStyle magazine. Kahlana’s collection includes 120 pieces that are inspired by her personal sense of style.
Initially launched on September 11, the collection was a instant hit and items sold out quickly. But, lucky for us, Target has restocked some things as well as they dropped new items. Kahlana’s collection includes an inclusive sizing range between XXS-4X with most of the items falling under $100. When asked what’s her best advice for styling any look, Kahlana stated, “dress for your body, and don’t be afraid to play around with different sizes to see how each piece falls on your figure. Don’t worry about the number on the tag! It’s all about how it looks and feels on you.” Take a look down below to see which items we have in our carts right now.
