Vans Celebrates International Women's Day with their 'Divine Energy' Collection

Vans went above and beyond for International Women’s Day this year, gifting us a magical collection of apparel and footwear. The March 8 holiday is an opportunity for us to celebrate and uplift our fellow woman, honoring our collective achievements and work toward a more equitable future. Named ‘Divine Energy’, this line celebrates the undeniable, powerful qualities that unite us in womanhood.
Psychedelic motifs like 70s-esque flowers and fonts give this collection a retro vibe. The iconic Vans checkerboard design makes an appearance throughout the different shoes and apparel pieces. The drop features a primarily neutral, earthy color palette and inspirational quotes. “She can be anything” is written across a lavender tee and Sk8-Hi, while the words “lover”, “fighter”, “healer”, “dreamer”, “mentor”, “advocate”, and “leader” decorate the slides, crewneck pullover, and Old Skool sneaks.
A portion of the sales made from this collection will benefit the Tides Foundation, a nonprofit accelerator that focuses on economic equality and social justice.
