Nike c/o Virgil Abloh "Athlete in Progress" Collection

We've all witnessed the success of Virgil's collaboration with Nike. The Ten will go down in sneaker history as one of the most highly sought after releases from a designer under the Nike umbrella. With their new "Athlete in Progress" collaboration the two are tapping into track and field.

"I started talking with Nike about this women’s running project last summer and at the time, I was very much inspired by the aesthetic and style of track and field athletes. As a result, I invited some of Nike’s elite track and field champions to participate in my SS19 Off-White runway show as the natural forerunner to developing and showcasing the collection," says Abloh.

We got a chance to see this collection on the runway last September which got the internet buzzing yet again with another Virgil and Nike collab.

What we do know is that this will be a limited release that will include the running top and tights. We'll also get three colorways of the new Nike x Off-White Zoom Terra Kiger 5.
