It's been a SUPER long time since we've done a Sneaker Diary, huh? Forgive me. Finding a photographer in Texas not named "Dad" hasn't been the easiest feat BUT, I had the opportunity to travel down 35 a few weeks ago for the Nike KD9 Launch Experience in Austin, Texas and LET ME TELL YOU - it was quite a lot of Lone Star fun. Lucky for me, I found a talented photographer in Austin who captured a few style shots in the middle of a VERY busy Day 1.

This was a Nike trip so, please believe I came with tons of Swoosh options. However, on Day 1 I was feeling Texas festive. 6th Street, Congress, and a trip to Austin's beloved Stubb's BBQ had me all proud of the Lone Star so, I went with the good capital city vibes and donned one of my favorite tees.

Austin showed me an amazing time and I can't wait to go back. And, even though a few slices of Stubbs brisket probably aren’t in my future thanks to my Heisman on pork and beef, I’m pretty sure I can find a few Vegan Liftz-approved options in Austin.
