Sneaker Diary: Deep In Heart of Haurache

It's been a SUPER long time since we've done a Sneaker Diary, huh?  Forgive me.  Finding a photographer in Texas not named "Dad" hasn't been the easiest feat BUT, I had the opportunity to travel down 35 a few weeks ago for the Nike KD9 Launch Experience in Austin, Texas and LET ME TELL YOU - it was quite a lot of Lone Star fun.  Lucky for me, I found a talented photographer in Austin who captured a few style shots in the middle of a VERY busy Day 1.

This was a Nike trip so, please believe I came with tons of Swoosh options.  However, on Day 1 I was feeling Texas festive.  6th Street, Congress, and a trip to Austin's beloved Stubb's BBQ had me all proud of the Lone Star so, I went with the good capital city vibes and donned one of my favorite tees.

This $28 'In Texas We Trust' by Centre is one of my absolute faves, for obvious reasons - LOL. Aside from the major Texas pride, this super soft and comfy tee consists of an awesome breathable tri-blend (50% poly/25% cotton/25% rayon) and it's made in my city of Dallas.  Win and win!  While the grey I'm rocking is all sold out, you can still nab one in black.

I love, love, LOVE Huaraches so, it was a pretty simple decision on my end to show up in full on Air Huarache comfort.  I rocked the Nike Air Huarache GS "Blue Lagoon" which, in my personal opinion, are some of the most comfortable shoes I own.  While my color way is out of stock, you can nab something very similar by clicking the link below.

Austin showed me an amazing time and I can't wait to go back.  And, even though a few slices of Stubbs brisket probably aren’t in my future thanks to my Heisman on pork and beef, I’m pretty sure I can find a few Vegan Liftz-approved options in Austin.  Do have a go-to sneaker for 6th Street and beyond? Tell me your thoughts in the comments below!
