The days are getting shorter, the temperatures outside are dropping, and fall is FINALLY in the air!
With Halloween just two weeks away, brands have begun unveiling their spookiest sneakHER designs in time for October 31. Big name brands like Nike, Adidas, Vans, and Reebok have been on their A-game this year when it comes to getting in the Halloween spirit.
If you still don’t have a costume planned, don’t fret; this year’s array of frightening kicks should get your creative juices flowing.
Without further ado, here’s our Halloween 2021 Sneak(HER) List!
Nike is gifting us a full Halloween 2021 lineup with spooky versions of the Dunk Low, Air Force 1 Experimental, and Air Presto (read on to see what the latter two look like).
This Dunk Low comes with a pumpkin orange swoosh, cream and black leather uppers, and glow-in-the-dark outer soles. Scary eyes appear on the black leather when the shoe is held under black light or in a super dark room.
Ready to get your glow on?
These luminescent Nike Dunk Lows will be available on the Nike site on October 21.
American skateboarding legend Mark “Gonzo” Gonzales has teamed up with adidas once again to bring us a second iteration of the Superstar “Schmoo” bird sneaks they debuted in 2020.
This year they’re taking the Superstar to the dark side with an all-black premium leather body. The Schmoo birds (which look like little ghosts to us) are outlines in neon green, pink, blue, and purple.
Wanna cop these blackout sneaks?
While they’re completely sold out on the adidas site, you can still grab a pair at GOAT.
Pass the popcorn!
Vans has treated us to a full line of horror movie themed shoes. Fan favorites like IT, The Shining, Friday the 13th, and A Nightmare on Elm Street get their own respective Vans. The collection features various styles from the classic Vans slip-ons to slides to lace-up ankle sneaks.
This collection is bloody fun and available now; check it out our full write-up on the line here, then head over to the Vans store to grab your favorite pair.
Last year the orange version of this Nike AF1 Skeleton made our October 2020 Release Roundup.
The Big Swoosh has carried this style into the 2021 fall season with a purple court colorway. White X-Ray markings line up on both sides of the all-leather shoes and the outer soles glow in the dark.
We don’t have an exact release date yet, but we’ll keep you updated.
In the mean time, grab yourself a pair of Nike’s other Air Force 1 sneakHERs.
Adidas is giving us a sneaker we’ll really wanna sink our teeth into.
This Dracula Forum Low’s stripes come in red and has an all-black upper. A black and green glow-in-the-dark outer sole finishes the vampire aesthetic.
These vampirish shoes don’t have an official release date or price yet, but they’ll be available at the adidas online store sometime before the month ends.
That’s a wrap!
Nike is dressing up the SB Dunk Low in its own Mummy costume for the 2021 Halloween season.
These come with soft muted blue swooshes and an Egyptian hieroglyphic Eye of Horus is found inside the tongue pull tab. Zig Zag stitching, yellow eyes peering out the heel, and a glow-in-the-dark outer sole complete this SB Dunk Low.
Mark your calendars: these drop on October 25 and will run you $110 USD on the Nike site.
Who ya gonna call?!
Reebok has released an entire line of Ghostbuster-themed sneaks in celebration of the upcoming Ghostbusters: Afterlife film set to release in late November. This ghoulish collection has 4 different adult sneakers, 2 grade school age sneaks, and a toddler-age sneaker.
You can grab every shoe in this collection NOW at the Reebok store.
The next sneakHER to join the Nike Halloween 2021 collection is this AF1 Experimental.
It’s covered top to bottom in the same spooky eyes print overlay found on the other shoes in the collection. That overlay makes the entire shoe glow in the dark, making it the perfect choice for a night out Trick or Treating.
The Halloween Nike AF1 Experimental will be available at the Nike store on October 21 and will run you $130 USD.
Cut us a slice of pumpkin pie, sis.
This “Focus Orange” Adidas Forum Low has a tonal orange color way that makes us crave pumpkin spice lattes. A soft suede orange upper is complimented by a white midsole and black tongue.
These pumpkin-hued babies dropped for $100 USD on October 16 at the Adidas store.
Leaked photos of this Halloween themed Adidas ZX8000 have been making waves in the sneakHER community.
Fuzzy chenille Jack-O’Lantern patches cover the uppers of this purple and gold three stripes sneak. Suede, mesh, and nylon make up the bulk of this mixed-media hype shoe.
Still no release date or price estimate for these, but you can expect them to drop on the adidas site before fall ends.
The sleek and sporty Nike Air Presto wraps up the Nike Halloween 2021 collection.
Black champions this sneakHER with accents of bright orange. The spooky eyes overlay covers the heel and complimenting glow-in-the-dark overlays cover the sides of each sneak.
These (along with the rest of the Nike Halloween collection) drop on October 21 at the Nike site.
