Joe Freshgoods x New Balance 'Inside Voices' | Release Info

Back in February we began to see a snippet of what Joe Freshgoods had in store for us and, needless to say, we were excited. It seems that whenever Joe Freshgoods puts out anything that hones his name, he puts his heart and soul into the project, making for a product that is undeniably artistic and centralized around telling Black and Brown stories. His latest collaboration with New Balance is beautifully done and has us scouring the internet for a release date.

The Joe Freshgoods x New Balance ‘Inside Voices’ 9060 is constructed of various materials including mesh, leather, and New Balance’s notorious durable suede. The sneaker is set to come in two different colorways because one is just not enough. One colorway is called ‘Penny Cookie Pink’ that pays homage to Funsnax frosted strawberry cookies, a Chicago childhood favorite. The color scheme includes neutral tan and grey tones with hints of clay green and a distinctive mauvey pink. A second exclusive colorway called ‘Baby Shower Blue’ will also be released that includes a baby blue suede upper, beige mesh on the toebox, and baby pink details on the midsole and inner lining. Although the second colorway won’t be released to the general public, we can dream right? In addition, a varsity jacket along with a couple crewneck options are also set to drop alongside the sneaker release. Check out the images below for a closer look.

Are you as excited as we are? So here’e what we know so far about the release. The apparel in the collection is set to drop on 5/17. As far as the sneakers go, that still remains a mystery.
