This Vapormax Is a Must Have
If you missed out on NikeLab’s amazing “Triple Black” Air Comme des Garcon VaporMax drop last year, you’ll soon have a chance to nab a similar (and less expensive) pair next week.
The stealthy sneaker (this time with the traditional lace options we've seen in the Vapormax since it released on Air Max Day 2017) has been repurposed for both men and women as a “Black/Anthracite” general release.
While the two looks may appear identical from afar, there are a few small differences between this release and NikeLab's CDG version. The upcoming general release utilizes the “Anthracite” gray Flyknit seen on the new iteration which is darker than its predecessor — resulting in a more silver back stealth “Triple Black” look.
In case you don't have a pair (yet) the VamporMax sneakers feature a supportive yet breathable Flyknit upper, and a first-of-its-kind Air cushioning system. I have a pair of these in grey and red and I literally will walk around the house for no reason at all in them - they are that comfortable. The reason they're so comfy? The patented air technology eliminates the foam found in traditional midsoles for what Nike touts as its lightest, most flexible Air Max yet.
Set to drop June 22 at 10 a.m. ET directly via the Nike SNKRS app, this style retails for $190 and will be available in both men’s and women’s sizing. Although it'll be available in both Men's and Women's sizing, don’t expect this style to stick around for long - unless you're looking to customize your own pair, most of Nike’s VaporMax options have sold out within the first day of release.
Basically, stay ready my friends.
If you're looking to grab a pair now, or if black really isn't your favorite, take a look at a few lighter Vapormax options below.
Metallic uppers make this Thea shine.
