Vans and independent streetwear label Lazy Oaf debut their women’s only exclusive collection. Not only are we getting new sneakers but we’re getting a nice range of apparel and accessories too.
“Vans and Lazy Oaf fans are very similar” says Gemma Shiel, Lazy Oaf’s Founder and Creative Director. “Everyone that wears both Lazy Oaf and Vans are nonconventional and “keep it weird” in an irreverent and playful way.” The collection features everything from tees, dresses, hoodies, skirts and bodysuits. Our favorite in the collection happens to be the ‘Sorry I’m Late Tee’ that is fitted with embroidery at the chest and has checker trim down the sleeves.
However, don’t forget the accessories! They also include a backbag, bear bag, socks and of course a hat. The socks are going to be super cute to pair with sneakers from this collection or your favorite pair of Vans.
Last but not least, lets get into the shoes. We see new iterations of the Olk Skool Platform that features a black suede upper with checkerboard printed laces and a pink Sidestripe. Another detail about these is the embroidery on the back of the shoe that reads “Bad for you.” Then, there’s the Vans Style 29 that includes a pink upper with a black outsole and toe cap with “Sorry I’m Late” laces. The Classic Slip-On makes an appearance along with the Authentic that features a floral upper with a black outsole.
If you’re loving the new collection from Vans and Lazy Oaf, you can get in on the fun above and below.
