Cop or Can: The Nike Air Zoom Talaria Is Coming Back, Because Tinker Said So
Remember back in the good ol days (circa: early 2000s) when Mike Jones was blowing up everyone's radio station and inviting you to give him a call? 281-330-8004 was present on damn near everyone's call log and was a genius marketing ploy that still has us waxing nostalgic about the days when tall tees were acceptable attire.
Anyway tho, Nike takes a page out of Mike's book as they ready themselves for March Madness aka one of their greatest release month's ever. With Air Max Day rolling in on the 26th, you'd think the folks at the Swoosh would be way too busy with that to give us anything else. Nope. They're cool like that and Tinker Hatfield, legendary sneaker gawd, left us a voicemail to prove it.
Place a call to 1-800-250-2652 (or 800-023-4844 for those of you across the pond in the UK) and you'll hear Tinker himself deliver a message about the return of the runner's dream on March 31st: the Nike Air Zoom Talaria.
The original Air Zoom Talaria, which released in 1997, will make it's triumphant return later this month. Originally designed by Tinker and one of the first sneakers to feature Nike's Zoom technology and flex grooves, the updated model will receive it's redesign courtesy of NikeLab and, wild guess, Tinker.
Look out for more on this release and be sure hit that hotline.
