And Now, the adidas Futurecraft with 3D-Printed Sole Unit
Last week, the future got really real as new images hit the net of adidas' patented Futurecraft 3D technology. Now, adidas unveils a blacked out version of the groundbreaking sneaker and it is show stopping. Featured by the adidas Creators Base in Brazil, the Futurecraft is one of the first shoe models to employ an entirely 3D-printed sole unit. The performance sneaker features an upper crafted with an all-new knit material, designed to enhance durability and wearability.
This innovative approach could easily alter the ways consumers purchase their kicks. With 3D printing technology, we could easily print our shoes in-store or, hopefully, in the comfort of our own homes. COULD YOU IMAGINE!?!
Before we get ahead of ourselves with dreams of multiple color ways and printing all of our favorite silhouettes in the guest room, browse the gallery above for a closer look at the new adidas Futurecraft.
