Sneaker Diary: Panels and Purple Rain In Nike VaporMax
Late last month I was invited to an event to speak on a panel as our homies at CosignKicks celebrated their official launch. For me, it was a perfect opportunity to talk all things CNK, SneakHER Culture, and get in a few snaps of a cropped jacket and a pair of Vapormaxes that were gifted to me all the way back in August.
For the event, I opted to keep it cozy with a pop of color. This Nike Women's Cropped Jacket was perfect for that extra eye-catching vibe. The crop is actually from Nike's City Ready Collection which we saw first hand unveiled in Chicago. The lightweight feel made it easy to wear and the color is very pretty in person. Definitely one of my favorite pickups this year.
Since the jacket is such a statement piece, I wanted to keep it simple with a black bodysuit and black Champion joggers. The black really brought out the color in the jacket and the extra detail in my Vapormaxes, plus, they were pretty inexpensive pieces. I got both my joggers and bodysuit for less than $30. Last, but not least: these Nike Air VaporMax Flyknit Utility Sneakers may be one of my sleeper faves for this year. Easy to slip-on and slip-off, they come equipped with the same VaporMax cushioning system we were introduced to back in 2017 and are beyond comfortable. The mid-cut collar is a definite plus as it helps hug the ankle for more support. If you're looking for a sneaker that will pair well with everything from joggers to footed tights as the winter approaches, these might be an awesome option.
