Sneaker Diary: Coolin' At The Skatepark
I know it's been quite some time since I did a Sneaker Diary here on CNK but guess what I'm back in action! It's been a great couple of months and I couldn't be more excited. I recently visited NYC for fun because traveling is what's up these days. Anyway I couldn't visit New York without doing some shopping and going to every KITH store the city could offer. I first stopped by the Nike & Kith store in Manhattan where I ended up getting two Nike|Kith branded tees which they press for you in store. While my tees were getting pressed I headed across the street to the womens store to grab the Nike Loden but they didn't have my size but the Brooklyn store did! Win-Win for the kid. By the time I arrived home in Chicago, I already knew this sneaker diary was coming.
Over the summer I copped these Gucci sunglasses that I've been wearing every chance I get. These costed a pretty penny but I fell in love with them and called every Sunglass Hut in the city to get them. I paired them with the Nike|Kith logo tee which looks pretty vintage even though it was printed in store about a month ago. Unfortunately, you can only get these tees in store but if you happen to be around NYC I recommend grabbing one for $50.00.
These Guess shorts are vintage from the 90's or something. I found these in my moms closet and I've been rocking them every since. They are super comfortable and look good with a tee and crop top. Don't be surprised if you see these a couple more times on the gram and social media.
I also ventured to Kith in Brooklyn to get these Nike Loden in the "Gucci" colorway because they didn't have my size at the women's store but they were worth the extra train ride. These are super comfortable and I've found myself wearing these a little bit more than expected. But I've already paired these with some Nike trackpants and black denim. I'll definitely be transitioning these into Fall. They were $90.00 which isn't too bad. I would say these are budget friendly ladies so if you're looking for a new cop these just might be a go!
Hopefully, you guys will see me again sooner than later! I promise I won't leave you hanging for 5 months again!
