If you guys haven't heard the news we've joined Nike's Air Society! Nike Air Society was created to celebrate entrepreneurial, badass women, who inspire others with their passion, purpose, and creativity. Last year we got a chance to cover the very first Nike Air Society crew in Chicago and this year we get to join in on the fun as well as take you along for the ride.

You know we love our Sneaker Diary Series and this time we’re giving you two for one, meaning we’re going to show you how we styled our Air Max 270’s in two different ways. This is a special one because for one of our outfits we received some help from a style aficionado at Trunk Club.

For today’s Nike Air Society event, I knew that we were going to be assisted by a stylist at Trunk Club to help us pick out an outfit for photos but me being me I just wanted to make sure I put on something fun just in case! I also knew that I wanted to be comfortable but look like I tried a little bit. I had literally just got home from work and I knew I wanted to wear this Lil’ Uzi Vert tee (which you guys have seen in a previous Sneaker Diary) so I took a pair of scissors and made it into a crop top, DIY style.

I paired that newly made crop with some faux leather shorts that give off a “real” leather look. I’ve never been a fan of faux leather that looks shiny, either go full on vinyl or go home. I added my favorite yellow jacket from Zara on top which was also featured in a previous Sneaker Diary (see the trend here?) and threw it on top because it was a little chilly in Chicago.

Pulling everything together were the Nike Air Max 270 in the “Barely Rose/Vintage Wine” colorway, I threw on some sparkly socks that I grabbed from H&M around Christmas. It was time to head to Trunk Club, meet the girls, and get styled.

As we arrived to Trunk Club’s Downtown Chicago location we were instantly greeted by the stylists and Nike Chicago team. We grabbed drinks and began our styling journey. I met with my stylist for the evening who would be helping me create a look for our surprise photoshoot. We discussed what I had in mind and what am I down for trying, I said everything!

We first tried a denim on denim number, I loved the jeans but I didn’t think they were the vibe I was going for however I did end up taking them home with me! I ended up being styled in a oversized Levi’s Denim Jacket, the black Nike Miler cropped tank and the Nike Dry Lux Flow training pant. The look was complete with my gold accessories and the Nike Air Max 270.

The Air Max 270 features the first-ever air unit designed expressly for a lifestyle shoe! It takes its design cues from both the Air Max 180 and Air Max 93. The shoe is very comfy and easy to style with everyday looks which can be seen in our different style options.
