Sneaker Diary: Culottes Meet Classic Leather

Last week, I had a pretty cool opportunity to merge two of my favorite things (sneakers + empowering/connecting women) as I played co-host with Reebok Women and Reebok Classics for an intimate evening here in Dallas.

We teamed up with Reebok to invite 15 amazing women out for a good meal, great conversation, and a sweet scenery at Del Frisco's Steakhouse in Downtown Dallas. Their Salmon was amazing, btw. Luckily, I was able to snap a few shots before we got started and before the sun disappeared from view.

I opted to keep it simple and semi-casual because I made moves to a local reverse happy hour after the dinner. Also, I wanted to be chic, but be comfortable as well. I haven't had a pair of culottes since high school so, when I spotted these babies on BooHoo, I thought I'd give them a try. Typically I find AMAZING deals on BooHoo because they're always offering ridiculously good promo codes. For me, that means I can try a new style without too much hesitation because I won't be breaking the bank.

Of course I had to bring out my Classics for the occasion! I actually got this pair of Reebok Classic Leathers a few months ago at a Reebok gifting event here in Dallas. They suited the evening and the outfit perfectly. Plus, I'm hella here for the gum soles.

Now, I'm thinking about grabbing a black/white and blue/white Nylon pair ASAP. These are definitely comfortable and easy on your budget.
