The folks at Hypebeast went behind the scenes with Nordstrom and Converse, as photographer Renell Medrano captured the season’s offerings while giving insight into her creative process. “I’m very big on color and details,” Medrano commented. “Color easily gives me the mood of what I’m going for.”

With a varied selection of both high and low Chuck Taylor All Star II silhouettes (including a pretty bangarang Converse Teal Ox low on Renell), Nordstrom and Converse bring a slew of looks that will appeal to a wide variety of fashionistas. Distressed denim, flowing floral prints, and fringe combine with color-blocked canvas uppers and striking white soles for a campaign that feels effortless and real.
