Sneaker Diary: Jumpsuits x Puma
Happy Valentine's Day!
I hope you all found the perfect gifts for the gal pals in your lives! Over the weekend, I was blessed with the opportunity to spend some quality time with my homies. We ate pizza, watched chick flicks, and had a good old fashioned sleep over. While I'm sure many of us would prefer to spend actual Valentine's Day in our pajamas wrapped up in a massive Netflix marathon (which may actually happen for me this weekend, btw), it's a day for dinners and romantic hullabaloo. But, that doesn't mean all comfort goes out the window. Well, at least not for me.
I'm fully aware that I live in a state that is massively hot and cold (literally) when it comes to the weather so it's always imperitive to grab outfits that will cover and will breathe. That's kind of why I'm obsessed with cotton blend jumpsuits. They are light weight enough to be worn for a spring night out and can also be worn when it's a bit cold outside under a trench, a wool coat or a handy cape, like this one which is marked down from $60 to $35 USD.
I wore this jumpsuit by Naked Wardrobe on a gloomy day in Uptown (it was actually pretty chilly too) and it can definitely be dressed up for a date night. I actually wore it for last year's Galentine's Day festivities. Full circle, right? I particularly love the deep plunge which adds some subtle sexy. Unfortunetely, my wrap jumpsuit is sold out, but you can peruse the jumpsuit selection here.
In case you were wondering, yes - these are the same pair of sneaker from this post. I’ve been wearing these Puma Hearts since I received them back in January. Notice how much the change in laces from the rope to the satin makes a world of difference? You can grab them now for $85 USD.
This week, I'll be busy getting back to that video stuff again. If anyone knows anything about editing, holla at me. Also, on this day of so much love - don't forget to show yourself some. Brit (of FitXBrit) and I collaborated on a self-care post that is perfect for this time of year.
Hope you all have a great week!
